Overview

PCG owns and manages three property portfolios in the student accommodation, residential and retail property sectors in Pretoria and Johannesburg. Our main objective is to acquire properties in decline and develop or refurbish them into properties that offer value for money to the student, residential, and retail tenant markets as well as our shareholders.

The portfolio

Posterity Portfolio

PCG owns and manages its own portfolio of properties comprising a student accommodation property situated in Pretoria West, residential blocks of flats located in the Johannesburg and Pretoria areas and an undivided share in the Hatfield Plaza, a 33,000 m² retail centre situated in Hatfield, Pretoria.

CBD Residency

PCG is an investor in and the Asset Manager of the CBD Residency business. CBD Residency was established in order to address the growing need for student accommodation in Pretoria. It was incorporated as an entity to acquire and refurbish properties for the purpose of residential accommodation in the inner city. The company owns and manages a portfolio of properties housing around 4,300 tenants, mainly students but also young people and families working and living in the city.

Clients’ Portfolios

PCG is Asset Manager of a clients student accommodation portfolio of 2,500 beds located in Pretoria West. The portfolio accommodates Tshwane University of Technology and Sefako Makgatho University students.

Pipeline

We are working on a project pipeline that will add 4 900 student accommodation beds to the three portfolios between 2026 and 2028

Services

PCG offers a proactive, hands-on approach to property and asset management. Property management services include tenant management, building /facilities management and financial management. Asset management services include income and expenditure budgeting, capital expenditure management, asset performance measurement , asset benchmarking, lifecycle modelling, portfolio optimisation, asset disposals and for new opportunities, financial modelling , due diligence reviews, investment decisions, capital structuring, capital raising and deal closure.
